There are no intrinsic limitations to the sizes that can be reached but the size of the
equipment used to dry the gel and to consolidate the Aerogel.

NTECH has also developed expertise in silica glass micropattering i.e. the
fabrication of structures in silica glass on silica glass substrate with features
up to the few micron scale.

NTECH can also provide to their customers special sol formulations for
temperature resistant coatings and for metal surface protection against acids.
This complementary knowledge in thin film is also directed towards applications
in the semiconductor industry.
