EQUIPMENT
All the equipment needed for the SiVARA® Process
has been tested and optimized in NTECH’s fully operative Industrial
Development Center (IDC). As the process is modular, the plant size can
be adjusted to the market needs in a timely way. This means an enhanced
flexibility and an immediate economy of scale.
Chemical
Reactors
The equipment needed is standard,
the reactions are compatible with glass, stainless steel or
reinforced plastic containers.

Moulds
The material used depends on the specific object
desired. NTECH will assist the customer with the proper procedure
and the needed know-how.

Solvent
Exchange
Standard distillation procedures and equipment
are employed to recycle the used solvents.
|
Hypercritical
Drying
The autoclave used is commercially available.
It should reach temperatures up to 280 °C and pressures
up to 50 bar for most of the applications. The size is a function
of the objects to be produced. |
| Furnace
The furnace design depends on the size and
shape of the final objects to be realized. Based on own experience
in its Industrial Development Center, NTECH can help in designing
a specialized furnace for the desired application. The operating
conditions are function again of the specific application.
In general, the furnace shall operate under a controlled atmosphere
and never in excess of 1500 °C. |
